Words of greatness echoed throughout the hallways of Stoughton's South Elementary School. Some of the world's most prominent historical figures could be seen and heard speaking on important issues.
It was all part of the fourth graders' annual "Wax Museum."
The wax museum was just one aspect of a six-week project, where students researched a particular historical figure and produced both oral and written reports. On Friday, students dressed as their figure and talked about what they had learned and why they had chosen the people they did.
"They had to choose someone who helped change the world," said fourth grade teacher Marge Erlich, who organized the project with fellow teacher Rebecca Doherty. "This is the end result now that they're all done with their research."
