Five Stoughton High School musicians have been accepted to perform in the 2009 Southeast District Honors Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Chorus.

 Seniors Bianca Sellitto and Danica Hassol will be singing with the Honors Chorus. Senior Shaul Kushinsky has been accepted to perform on Baritone horn with the Wind Ensemble. Junior Tony Barros and Senior Dennis McCormick will be performing with the District Jazz Ensemble.

 On the strength of their auditions, Shaul, Bianca, Tony, and Dennis have been recommended to audition for the MMEA All-State Festival to be held in March. The Southeast District Festival will be held on January 8th & 9th at Oliver Ames High School in Easton, Massachusetts.
