Students Are Living History
Words of greatness echoed throughout the hallways of Stoughton's South Elementary School. Some of the world's most prominent historical figures could be seen and heard speaking on important issues.
It was all part of the fourth graders' annual "Wax Museum."

South School has its own wax museum - for a day
Traveling through the fourth grade classrooms at the South Elementary School last Thursday morning was like a walk through history.
In one corner stood Thomas Edison, Ronald Reagan and Princess Diana.....across the room sitting in his wheelchair was Franklin Delano Roosevelt. And Abe Lincoln, Helen Keller and John F. Kennedy were all there as well.

Hair-raising experience
Calvin Nguyen didn't have to think hard when asked to describe an assembly he attended last week at the South School.
"It was shocking," said Nguyen, a fourth grader, with a big smile.
