“grab-and-go” meals

The Stoughton Schools Food Services Department has completed the first week of the school, shut down feeding, for our students. Roughly 2000 meals were distributed. These meals are a “grab-and-go” style; packaged in convenient bags by our dedicated and talented Food Services Department. We will be practicing social distancing protocol at the pickup site, so please be patient as you wait for your meals.

Whenever possible, please send one HEALTHY family member to get meals for all children in the household. Also, please check in with a neighbor who may be unable to make it to the school and see if they need a meal.

HEALTHY students MAY walk to the middle school to pick up a meal.

For the safety and good health of our staff and volunteers, please do not come to the site if you or any of your household members are feeling ill or have been advised to self-quarantine. Also, please stay in your vehicle, we will pass the meal to you.

Our goal is to ensure that all Stoughton children, whether SPS students or not, have access to food during the school closure. Therefore, if you would like to email my office and order a breakfast, lunch or both, please do so and we will have the meals packaged for you when you arrive.

All meals can be picked up Monday through Friday at the Dr. Robert G. O’Donnell Middle School from 10:00 – 11:30 AM

Sincerely,

Edward Gilbert
