Winter Choral Concert

Stoughton High School and the O’Donnell Middle School to attend the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Festival. April 5-7, 2024

The MICCA Festival is over a three day period From April 5, 2024 to April 7, 2024 where students compete with other schools in Massachusetts.


This year the Stoughton Choral Groups will be performing at the Norwood High School, 245 Nichols Street, Norwood MA. 02062

The Stoughton High School Symphonic Choir will be performing on April 5, 2024 from approximately 4:20 PM to 4:40 PM.

They will be conducted by Mr. Christopher Weigel and will be performing Northern Lights by Ola Gjeilo, A Red, Red Rose by James Mulholland, and No Hidin' Place by Moses Hogan.

The O’Donnell Middle School Honors Chorus will be performing on April 5, 2024 at approximately 5:00 PM to 5:20 PM. 

The group is comprised of 7th and 8th grade students that rehearse together once a week after school.

The students will be conducted by Mrs. Betty Bauman-Field and will be singing choral arrangements of Satasponda, Homeward Bound, and Feel Good.


The Stoughton High School Concert Chorus will be performing on April 5, 2023 at approximately 7:10 PM to 7:30 PM.

The students will be conducted by Ms. Sarah Mawn and will be performing Festival Sanctus by John Leavitt, The Irish Blessing by Joyce Eilers and The May Night by Johannes Brahms.

Please come and enjoy the performances by the students as they have all worked hard all year for this performance.

Admission: The cost of admission is $10 for adults, and $5 for students and senior citizens. Their handstamp will allow them into all seven MICCA sites for the duration of the Festival. Cash or check only. Checks are payable to “MICCA”. At some sites, audience members will be able to pay using a credit card using the Square Reader app.

The public is welcome at all sites to hear the performances. The one-time admission is valid at all choral and instrumental sites throughout the weekend. There are refreshments for sale at all sites as well.

Each group will receive a 25-minute clinic from one of the adjudicators, as well as score sheets from each of the adjudicators, recorded adjudicators' comments and a performance recording.

Refreshments: Refreshments will be available for purchase.  All food and beverages must be consumed and discarded in the designated areas
