The Stoughton Public Schools are looking forward to welcoming the Class of 2035 when we register next school year’s Kindergarten class.
Whether you are new to the Stoughton Public Schools or have an older child already attending one of our schools, we are glad to make your acquaintance. Starting Kindergarten is a major event in your child's life and we look forward to supporting your student's growth for many years to come!
Who is eligible to attend Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year?
Children must be 5 years old by August 31, 2022 to enter Kindergarten in September for the 2022-2023 school year.
Where does my Kindergartener go to school?
Students are assigned to elementary school based on their street address. This map shows each elementary school district by streets. School officials will determine school placement. Families do not need to select a school during the registration process.
Registration Process
Kindergarten central registration for the 2022-2023 school year will be held Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Jones Early Childhood Center (137 Walnut St. in Stoughton) and will require both online and in-person components. Please read the following message carefully to understand the registration process.
First, families of incoming Kindergarten students will complete a pre-registration form, which can be found by clicking here.
